Perennial Plants

Currently in our 10th year of production, our perennial bare root supply continues to grow. From a backyard garden to acres of perennial fields, the quest for species that are hardy, store well and valued by consumers is the goal of Balamore Farm. From day one, bare root quality along with quantity set us apart. Larger, healthy roots, properly divided and stored in our cold storage units provide the best plant material for nurseries across North America.

Our growth over the years shows in our current availability of products. This year we carry over twenty-five species with multiple varieties of each. The Astilbe selection alone has more than thirty varieties available this year. Add in the various sizes and there are more than two hundred and fifty choices to meet your needs.

Fortunately, we have very favorable growing conditions in our area. Sandy-loam, class 2 soil, along with temperate weather brought in by the Bay of Fundy; give us a distinct growing advantage.
